Sipping wonderful, hot teas from English fine bone china cups and saucers and being served crustless cucumber sandwiches, warm scones with clotted cream, jam and small pastries from the hostess’ finest collection of silver plate trays, the Afternoon Tea was filled with sensory-uplifting sounds, tastes, aromas and connection.
